Person Growing

Could you tell me how to illustrate a person growing?

Answer:

Hi there,

I need more information - what do you mean a person growing? Do you mean going all the way from infancy to adulthood? If the answer is yes, I recommend some stop motion photography. Take pictures of a baby, a toddler, a child, a teenager and an adult (or more) and then juxtapose them onto the same image using Photoshop and transparency levels. Print your final image as a black and white copy. Finally, use the Grid method I've described on this website to re-create your image in charcoal or pencil. However, I must add that the Photoshop part is beyond what I can help you with. You might do a google search to find a website that can help you use that kind of program. I also enjoy using Paint.net because it does a lot of the same things and it's FREE!

Wishing you the best,
Elizabeth
