I love the art of film. Film, as an art form, can create anything. Through the use of animation, special effects, and motion capture technology anything you dream can come to life. Even if you don't have the money or means to use any of the above things you can still express yourself. All one really needs is a camera and actors. Speaking from personal experience I know. I was going through a tough time in my life, I had just ended a very long relationship and was sinking into depression. I also was fired from my job a few weeks later. As I sat alone in my house I saw a video camera. I began playing around with it and having fun. Out of boredom and anger I wrote a short story about a man and a girl who ended their long relationship. I put up ads for actors, got my friends involved and it really pulled me out of my slump. Now I have a job and a new relationship and can attribute that fact to the art of film. -Jake
