Easy Art Lesson Plans - Explaining the Importance of Composition

Possibly the favorite of all my art lesson plans, this quick demonstration shows students first hand the in's and outs and why's and how's of composition and basic 2d design!

*For added safety, use scissors instead of an x-acto knife to cut out final drawings!

This lesson is geared towards Art Teachers. However, I hope all of you who are students will enjoy trying it out as well!

Important Note about this lesson: When I introduce it, I don't really tell students beforehand what it's all about - we just get started and let the lesson unfold. It's value is revealed by the time we are done. It's so much fun watching everyone's face light up as they realize they each easily created a modern looking work of art - even if they are tiny!
